Serve a Meal

We serve approximately 100 meals per month between our Drop-In Center (downtown) and Shelter location (off South Broadway).

This opportunity is appropriate for groups of 2 to 6 individuals. Please note the minimum age to volunteer at the Drop-In Center downtown is 18 and the minimum age to volunteer at the Shelter is 12.

Breakfast is served at our Drop-In Center Monday – Friday.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at our Shelter 7 days a week (with the exception of lunch on Wednesday).

Join our Day of Service

These projects take place once every other month: May 10, July 12, September 13, and November 8.

A typical project might include deep cleaning and painting our Drop-In Center or light yard work at one of our housing facilities. Our locations see a very high number of youth and these projects are critical at helping our spaces reflect the respect that we have for them.

Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals

We have a limited number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year for individuals to get involved, on a longer-term, ongoing basis. These opportunities include GED tutoring, class offerings (such as yoga or art) or administrative support. Because it is important for us to provide consistent relationships for the youth there is a minimum of a 6 month commitment for these opportunities.

Please note: Opportunities that involve working with youth directly require a $30 background check.

Please contact our Development Officer, Tamar Berner at 303.974.2954 or [email protected] if you are interested volunteering as an individual.

Have a group larger than 6?

We occasionally have opportunities for larger groups. If you have a group that is less than 6 people we recommend one of our meal serving opportunities. If you have a group that is larger, 7 to 20 people, please contact us to learn about other available opportunities.

Please contact our Development Officer, Tamar Berner at 303.974.2954 or [email protected] you are interested volunteering with a group larger than 6 people.
