Join our Day of Service

These projects take place once every other month: May 10, July 12, September 13, and November 8.

A typical project might include deep cleaning and painting our Drop-In Center or light yard work at one of our housing facilities. Our locations see a very high number of youth and these projects are critical at helping our spaces reflect the respect that we have for them.

Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals

We have a limited number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year for individuals to get involved, on a longer-term, ongoing basis. These opportunities can include GED tutoring, class offerings (such as yoga or art) or administrative support. Our current individual volunteer opportunities are:

  • GED Tutors (weekday, afternoon hours)

We require at least a 6 month commitment for these opportunities and a $42 background check fee.

Please contact our Community Engagement Officer, Tamar Berner at 303.974.2954 or [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering as an individual.

*Urban Peak cannot accommodate court ordered community service due to staffing restraints.
