Tamra Schmitt joined Urban Peak in December 2018 and brings a diverse finance background spanning the non-profit, government and private sectors. After leaving corporate banking, Tamra was an executive director of a foster home recruitment and support organization, a business finance program manager for the Colorado Office of Economic Development, and the director of finance for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and Invest in Kids.

Additionally, Tamra taught accounting and finance courses at the Community College of Aurora and served as the chair of the business program. She was born and raised in Denver and returned to Colorado after attending school in California. She holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in finance/marketing from the University of the Pacific.
