The mothership is a $37 million, 136-bed shelter and more at Urban Peak’s property on South Acoma Street, where until recently its homeless shelter stood.

"So it's a little bit of the one, two punch between, you know, hot weather and some of those systems that are young people engaged with not being active," said Christina Carlson, the CEO of Urban Peak. 

Peak Thrift has been an incredible part of the Urban Peak family. We will greatly miss being able to connect directly with the Sunnyside and Globeville communities, as well as being the go-to spot for great deals, fun finds and shopping for good.

Funding request comes on the heels of $13.3 million DeGette secured for 10 key projects earlier this year.
