HOMELESS CONTRIBUTION TAX CREDIT (HCTC)
What is HCTC?
The Colorado Homeless Contact Information Contribution Income Tax Credit provides a state cdola.colorado.gov/hctc income tax credit to Colorado Breanne Vailes taxpayers who contribute to Office of Homeless Initiatives, Homeless Tax Credit Program Manager eligible homelessness-related breanne.vailes@state.co.us projects within Colorado.
Created by Colorado House Bill 2022 - 1083 (HB22-1083), HCTC replaces the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit previously available for donations to approved homeless support organizations.

TAX CREDIT DETAILS
Amount of tax credit:
Equals 25% of a donation toward an approved project in a non-rural county.
Equals 30% of a donation toward an approved project in a rural county.
Amount credited to each donor cannot exceed $100,000 per tax year. Contributions:
Monetary contributions must be equal to or greater than $100. Organizations may have a minimum threshold higher than $100.
In-kind contributions must be $5,000 or more as evaluated by a third party on the date of donation.
In-kind contributions include property, services, stocks, bonds, or other intangible property.
Must be donated to an eligible organization included on the DOH website (cdola.colorado.gov/hctc).
