We are especially grateful to Bill Fox, Empower’s Interim Chief Marketing Officer and a valued member of Urban Peak’s Board of Directors since 2020. After relocating from Massachusetts to Colorado, Bill was drawn to Empower’s values and soon connected with Urban Peak through the company. He and his wife Maru share a deep commitment to supporting at-risk youth, shaped in part by their own family’s connection to foster care— both Bill’s father and their children were adopted.

Their involvement is heartfelt and ongoing. Each year, Bill and Maru serve breakfast at the shelter on Christmas morning. One year, a youth tearfully shared that the meal reminded them of their mother. “That made it real,” Bill said. “These young adults deserve our attention and support.”
