People connect with Urban Peak for many reasons, but they all share a commitment to uplifting their community. For Room & Board—a modern furniture and home décor company—it was Urban Peak’s wraparound services for youth experiencing homelessness, particularly those from marginalized communities, that inspired a lasting partnership.

Denver holds a special place in Room & Board’s story, as the site of their first store in 1980. Years later, Urban Peak had the honor of becoming the company’s first-ever Community Partner. In recognition of their outstanding support, we named them Maverick Thinkers in 2014.

Room & Board's contributions to Urban Peak have included generous grants, event sponsorships, shelter meal service, furniture donations, internship opportunities for youth and more.
