Breakfast and Belonging

Selena, Jayonte and Tim are comfy at breakfast

At Urban Peak, every meal is more than just food—it's a chance for our youth to grow and connect. Recently, Life Skills Manager Jalesa hosted a special breakfast buffet in our Neighborhood kitchens, serving up much more than a full-course meal.

Youth from The Spark, The Peak and Stella Blue Neighborhoods came together not only to enjoy a delicious and well-balanced breakfast, but to engage in lessons around community and have meaningful conversations.

From setting the table to sharing stories of their lives inside and outside The Mothership, this morning gathering became a vibrant space for connection and confidence-building. The kitchen buzzed with laughter and curiosity—ingredients for more than just good food. Our youth left full in both body and spirit, asking the same question before they even left the table:

"When’s the next one?"

Moments like this remind us that life skills aren’t just taught—they’re experienced. And they’re even better when shared.

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
