February is Black History Month, and Urban Peak staff across our programs have come up with creative and engaging ways to celebrate Black beauty and brilliance.

If you’ve been to The Spot downtown in the last few months, you might have noticed the gorgeous new #BeTheSpark mural on the side of our building!

During this past season of giving, we were reminded of our amazing community of supporters. One such supporter, 12-year-old Loudon, decided to raise money for charity by producing and selling Christmas trees that he made from recycled fence posts and pickets.

As 2021 comes to an end, it is of course a time of reflection. As I look back on the year behind us, I am astounded by the resilience of our youth, the fortitude of our staff, the engagement of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
